Ottawa - April 16, 2021 - The NIB Trust Fund is now accepting applications for funding from individuals for the 2021-2022 year. Individuals may apply for funding in the form of a scholarship, bursary, or award from the NIB Trust Fund through the online application accessible at nibtrust.ca.
The NIB Trust Fund supports a wide range of activities for First Nations and Métis applicants to pursue, including but not limited to:

The Individual Call for Applications is open to First Nations and Métis people ages 18 and over with a social insurance number.
The NIB Trust Fund 2021-2022 Individual Call for Applications is accessible online. The application is open from April 16, 2021 – June 04, 2021. You can access the online application here. Applications must be submitted online by June 04, 2021 at 5:00 PM (EDT). No late applications will be accepted. Only completed applications will move forward to the Selection Committee. Virtual Information Sessions
Information Sessions for the 2021-2022 Call for Applications will be held virtually throughout the duration of the application. Participants can register for any of the 1-hour sessions listed below and take part to become familiar with the required documents and what to expect when applying for funding through the NIB Trust Fund.
The NIB Trust Fund honors the traditional lands of all Indigenous Peoples and communities across Turtle Island, including the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit. The NIB Trust Fund acknowledges and respects the traditional and unceded territory of the Algonquin People in the Ottawa area which is home to the NIB Trust Fund Satellite Office and the Haudenosaunee people on the land belonging to the Mohawks of Akwesasne which is home to the NIB Trust Fund Head Office.
